AUDITION NOTICE
Get Ready to “Bend & Snap!”
Fraser Valley Stage is excited to announce our Spring 2024 production of Legally Blonde The Musical.
If you love to sing, dance, and act – we would love to see you at auditions!
Production Dates: April 19th – 21st & 25th – 27th, 2024 (8 performances)
Abbotsford Arts Centre, 2329 Crescent Way, Abbotsford
Saturday, Sunday (Matinee AND Evening performances on Saturday)
Auditions will be at Robert Bateman Secondary School
Monday, October 30th – 6:45 - 9:45
Wednesday, November 1st – 6:45 - 9:45
Callbacks: November 6th – 6:45 - 9:45

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time.Rehearsals will start on Wednesday, November 15th 7:00-9:45 pm. Regular MONDAY and WEDNESDAY rehearsals at Robert Bateman from 7:00-9:45. Choreography rehearsals start SUNDAY, November 19th at Legacy Dance Productions Ltd – 32925 Ventura Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2S 6A3 (TBD)
As a performer with FVS, you will be expected to become a member. Annual Membership is $20 (Individual) & $30 (Family)

The president of the UCLA Delta Nu sorority and quintessential Valley Girl who finds herself at Harvard University studying to become a lawyer.

A smart and sensitive law student at Harvard who falls for Elle. He is charming, quirky, friendly and loveable.

Looking for singer/dancer/actors ages 19 & older, any gender, any vocal range to fill out our ensemble. There are spoken, singing, and dance solo opportunities for ensemble members. Consideration may be given to performers under the age of 19 years with parental consent.
Please prepare two songs with sheet music or recorded tracks. No “acapella” auditions please. Chosen songs should be ones you are comfortable performing and highlight your vocal talent. If using sheet music, please provide in advance by email attachment to assist in the audition process. You will be expected to do a cold reading based on the character you are interested in. Please be prepared to stay for a group choreography session.
Note: Ages and vocal ranges are an estimated suggestion; you must be able to portray the character effectively. In our commitment to fostering arts within our community, we welcome people with ALL levels of experience – from novices to seasoned performers!
